WHY WE CARE.
1.4 billion. In the last 5 years, the country of India has grown by 100 million people. Many of these are children and most live in poverty. Through education, these children have the opportunity to be elevated out of the cycle of poverty and are empowered to look beyond their caste to the things they are truly capable of. This is generational change! If one student is educated, elevated, and empowered, they will impact not only their own lives, but those of their parents, their future children, and the generations to come.

We believe that progress happens through upward motion. This is similar to a belief that the country of India possesses, too. The blue wheel in the center of the Indian flag represents the constant forward motion that the country strives to experience. We hope that the forward motion and momentum that our partner students experience is not just forward, but also upward. Breaking through the cycles of poverty, achieving more than the limitations placed upon them, and being promoted to their full potential.

Our partner school, Adams Academy, has more than 300 students who are beginning to believe and achieve the values that we hold so strongly to. More than 300 lives changed from forward motion to upward motion. More than 300 families whose trajectories and futures are changed forever.
